Back in 2009 I made a complete switch to GNU/Linux for nearly 2 years. This was mostly due to the work of Richard Stallman and the Free Software Foundation. I had to switch back to Windows when i took up photogrpahy because the popular editing tools did not have GNU/Linux verions and the alternatives were not nearly as powerful.
Ever since then I’ve wanted to meet Mr.Stallman, and the opportunity finally came thanks to the Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2018 where he spoke about ” Computing, Freedom and Privacy”

In regular Stallman style he explained in how we’re giving up our privacy and freedom in computing for the sake of convenience using easy to understand terms and examples. He also made the call for volunteers and contributors to come aboard the Free Software Movement, which I hope to take up soon in the future. For more information about free software and what you can do visit Free Software Foundation.
